Jerry/Gerald

So this one time I met this dude.. He told me his name was Jerry, but he had a name tag on that stated his name was Gerald. Naturally, I was befuddled, even dumbfounded one could say. But Jerry (or Gerald) simply explained to me that Jerry is short for Gerald, though they are spelled quite differently.

Just some thoughts...

I just seem to focus on things that just aren't as important. I write so many songs about girls and relationships, but I never do anything. I've never really been in a real relationship with someone I care about. It seems to me like I think writing about relatioships is more important than actually being in one. I want to change, but I always talk and never do. I talk and sing about asking girls out and dating, but I never actually do that. I don't know why exactly. Maybe I just think they don't like me or something. I really like this one girl right now, but I haven't done anything about it. I want her to know, but I haven't told her. I wish I could just walk up, say "I like you" and it work great, but it doesn't work like that...

Regularity...

I have got to start blogging more regularly... I mean I tweet too often and I don't blog often enough... It's a curious thing... But anyway 1mic Records recently signed Christ Envoy and his debut album State of Affairs came out... Listen to the single on youtube... Just search "Christ Envoy" and it should pop right up... Anyway the last two or three months have been alright I guess... Nothing huge has gone down so i have very little to update about right now except the redesign of 1mic Records website by Hunter Venters (twitter.com/venters81) from Random Panda Inc. (@PandaUpdate). Anyway I guess keep checking soundclick.com/calebbedford for new music...

What's been going on?

Well, I don't know if you are following my Twitter, but recently I have had success with my song "Oh, Kali, If U Only Knew" which climbed to #21 ad has stayed up there ever since it released. (It's a little lower now at #30, but still up there.) Also I have gotten to do some updating on the 1mic Records site http://1micrecords.webs.com (Added some vids) and I have been writing some new material as well. New stuff from a "studio" type feel may be a while away, but I am indeed working on it. More importantly I have just been having some good clean fun in the recently passed weeks. Gotta go, I smell bacon!!

Ah... Random, random, random...

There once was an old lady that lived in a shoe, right? How come we still hear bout her today when it isn't even technically possible to live in a shoe; unless of course the shoe was rather large which could have been the case indeed. But that aside I must inform everyone about my official full-length follow-up to 'Hero' and that I am indeed working on it, though it won't be seen til at least 2012. I just felt like talking about an old lady as an introduction. She has no part in the album. BTW the tentative title is '"TIL THE SKY IS BLUE"
